Seth Mangold was born and raised in Ottawa, Illinois and is a resident
of Rockford. Attorney Mangold attended Northern Illinois University for
his undergraduate degree where he majored in Philosophy with a minor in
Psychology. After undergrad Mr. Mangold worked as a Mental Health Counselor
at Ottawa Regional Hospital in Ottawa, Illinois prior to attending Law School.
Mr. Mangold attended Northern Illinois University College of Law where
he earned his Juris Doctorate and interned at the LaSalle County State’s
Attorney’s Office in Ottawa, Illinois. After passing the Illinois
Bar exam, attorney Mangold accepted a position as Assistant State’s
Attorney in Logan County Illinois in 2012. After working as an Assistant
State’s Attorney Mr. Mangold worked for a period of time in private
practice handling both criminal and civil cases. In 2014 Attorney Mangold
accepted a position with the Winnebago County Public Defender’s
office where he specialized in DUI, Domestic Violence, and other misdemeanor
and felony matters.
